Prior to working with Veterans United I had worked with 2 other mortgage brokers. Neither one of them offered the around-the-clock support or work ethic as Kyle Upshaw (my VU mortgage broker). We were simply told too many things that were wrong and had to be adjusted later including an additional $14,000 we had to come up with 2 days before we were supposed to close. Documents that were sent days earlier we were told couldn't be opened - that's fine, it happens but why are you telling me 3 -4 (or more) days after I sent them. Kyle was very nice but too many dropped balls.

Overall it was a positive experience. It was a dire time to buy a home considering the economy, the competition and rising interest rates. But we felt confident in the process with the help of VU and Kyle.
