Issues with people involved that had no idea how to interpret guidelines by the VA, making their own and nearly costing me thousands more of dollars, the closing of my new home and potentially leaving me homeless in the process.
Positive overall experience
This was my second VA home loan. My first VA loan experience was a nightmare. The lender was completely disorganized and obstacles were constantly popping up. After waiting at the title company for hours, we just barely closed on our home in time to avoid a severe storm. I was a little hesitant to work with a large company like Veterans United, but Bryan and the team at VU showed me that even though Veterans United is a busy company, they still put their clients first. There isn't a single negative thing I can think of. Bravo Zulu Victor Uniform!
Cole and his team helped me every step of the way, they took care of my family and myself to make sure we were set up as best as we could be to move into our home. I’d recommend the team to anyone, full stop.
Overall smooth experience. One instance of communication getting a little lost, but was resolved quickly without further issue. Everything else made quick and easy, due to a competent team. I would recommend any veteran that I know is on the market to Veterans United.
