Daniel Perry and Joe Hooker were very professional and easy to work with. This was our first time financing a home, and these two guys answered a lot of questions from me and were glad to do so. I like the fact that when I called, I always got Joe or Daniel and not some machine. They made it easy for me. Outstanding people.
My loan officer (Stephen Erickson) and real estate agent ( Yvonne turner ) were more than great. I could contact them at anytime for any questions or help I needed. Everything in my first time home buying process was easy and seamless thanks to them. The online signing made everything easier and anything that needed wet signed was overnighted to me so I could sign ASAP. Thanks for everything again!

Communicating with my team was difficult. Understanding each other in a rush was difficult. Understanding the loss i took afterwards and still paying out of pocket because one aspect was better than the other and then being told to have 6k at closing to make up for what i was informed that i would be receiving money back. Big jumps with not the correct information being passed. Had i known before i closed instead of after i would have said no to alot more. Its okay now, house is mine but i would not recommend VU as a team to a first time homeowner. I would recommend they find a team that understands, communicates efficiently and breaks down barriers to build a relationship for future growth. I didn’t receive any of that with VU.
They are easy to talk to and very helpful because I didn’t know how it works. Everyone on the team was supportive and called back when I had questions. I can’t wait to recommend Veteran United for a VA loan.
My Loan Officers were Johnny Mitchell and Amy Zager. They were always so informative and polite, and they were so easy to talk to. I always felt comfortable talking to them, and even more comfortable about the process after we spoke! In my opinion, they are some of the best at what they do.
